Facebook 500 Fan Contest Now Over!

I held a contest over the last week to celebrate my 500 fans on my Facebook page. I asked that anyone who wants to enter pick their favorite item from my shop and post it on my wall. For extra entries they could post that item on their own Facebook page, or purchase something from my shop. It was fun to see the different items that each person chose and gave me an idea for what is most popular in my shop.

The item that was the most popular was my newest, Burgundy & Black Crochet Purse or Tote Bag with Flower. (pictured above) I found this pretty interesting, although it won by a small margin over a couple other items that were tied. I plan on making more purses and bags eventually and see how they do!

Beautiful Blog Win!

Gossimar Wings on Etsy had a blog contest that I had entered, and I won!! I received my beautiful necklace in the mail today and it is absolutely gorgeous. Even prettier in person than it was in pictures. I can't wait to wear this beauty. It is actually a locket, which I didn't realize until I received it. So I can put a picture inside and carry it with me! I have to recommend this Etsy shop to everyone, since I love the necklace so much. I am a lover of both butterflies and roses, and this necklace has both. It is very well made, "made with love" as she put it. I can tell that she puts a lot of love and care into her pieces. All of this came about because I am having my own giveaway (see post below for details, it's still going and ends Wednesday) and was promoting it. Someone commented and I went to her blog and entered her contest. I was informed today that I was the winner! How exciting!! It really made my day.

Jacki of http://www.christiecottage.etsy.com had a blog contest to win a cute Raggedy Andy Fourth of July pin. I entered and was pleasantly surprised that I won one of them! He arrived by mail today and he is so adorable. I love entering blog contests, especially of people I know.
