I am working diligently to make affordable yarn creations such as scarves and hats to home decor. I of course not only want to make them affordable, I want them to also be beautiful! I recently listed several hats and scarves in my own lacy pattern that have accent flowers. They are only $16 each or $28.80 if you buy both at one time. Thankfully I sold one set yesterday, so I hope I'm onto something! I'm keeping my prices low while still making it profitable to sell my items online. Come to my shop MattsCraftyWife and see what's new!

The End of an Era

I will be leaving my BreathofDawnStudio shop open until fall/winter to see if the higher-end scarves and winter items will sell. If they do, I might keep that shop as a seasonal shop. I will not be leaving Etsy altogether, I will still log in with the one shop in order to check on sales, and to check in with my teams. I'll just be laying a little low until Fall. I can still be found on Facebook at My Fan Page.
A Great Big thank you to all of the customers who have come to me and been loyal to me. I also need to thank my Etsy friends who taught me so much and supported me during some hard times. You all are dear to my heart. And thanks to my husband who has supported my time on Etsy, and my other family members who bought from me and supported me emotionally. Of course I thank and praise God for the success I had on Etsy over the last two years. I had 319 sales as of today, with 100% positive feedback. Maybe someday God will bring me back to Etsy on a more regular basis, who knows. Until then...
Farewell!

KNITBLITZ feature!

Kathleen of http://KNITBLITZ.etsy.com is a wonderful Christian lady that I've had the joy to get to know on CASTTEAM and TeamCAC (both Christian teams). She has wonderful hand knitted items that she makes with love and care. There are also paintings in her shop that are really cute. She has the sweetest spirit and personality! I hope you'll go to her shop and give it a heart, or a sale. Here's part of her bio on Etsy.
"Hi! Welcome to my shop! I've been doing art of one kind or another since I was little. It's evolved slowly to include 3-D work. Knitting is ideal for me because I love color and texture so much. I LOVE yarn and love turning it into things that people can wear. This process is so special to me that I've vowed to never make any two creations the same! I DO have pets, however, I knit in a room where they don't go, when I am home, but mostly I knit at work, where there are no pets. :) Hence, knitted in a pet-hair free environment."
Please also check out her YUMMY shop where she sells blondies, brownies, cookies, breads, muffins... all the delicious baked goods you could ever dream of. They are well.. yummy!
